Abstract

The present research aimed to determine the relationship between investment project management and the problematic incidence of poverty in the constitutional province of Callao between the years 2018 and 2020. This investigation employed a basic methodology with a quantitative analytical approach and correlational-descriptive level. The significant sample consisted of 50 officials from the Submanagement of Public Investment Projects of the main district municipalities within the constitutional province of Callao, who responded to a questionnaire comprising 15 questions. The analysis using SPSS 25.0 resulted in a primary Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.766, indicating a significantly positive relationship between the study variables, but the level of correlational association is negative due to issues and limitations hindering effective project formulation, financing, and implementation, thus preventing the eradication of poverty in the Callao region so far.
