The present article had as objective to describe the curricular design by competences in the Educational Institutions of the Higher Level of Peru. The research was basic with a descriptive level and a quantitative approach whose development was carried out through the collection of information from sources with content related to the objective of the article. Through the cases collected, it will be modified to find that the curricular design presents multiple benefits in the Educational Institutions of the Higher Level of Peru, reaching schools, faculties, careers, teachers, students and society.
